My name is Jathan Hunt. I moved to Oklahoma in 2007 from a small hidden valley deep in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California at the age of 17. Since 2008 I have been employed by Ken Boyer in the capacity of Bail Enforcement. As I came of age, I advanced my way up in the company and eventually was able to complete all the educational phases of CLEET's requirements. In 2011, I was licensed as an armed private investigator. In 2015 changes were made in Oklahoma and a historic new piece of legislation was written into law. Known as the Bail Enforcement Licensing Act, Oklahoma had added a 5th phase to CLEET. I was proud to be one of the first ten Oklahoma Bail Enforcers licensed by the state coming in at License Number 9.
I have had years of on-the-job experience of tracking down fugitives all over the country and even abroad as far as South America. For a long time, I have felt the need to apply the gifts that our Almighty God has gifted to me, to give back to my community.
In 2019 I volunteered with the Oklahoma Search and Rescue Council in the capacity of Consulting Private Investigator and resigned in 2021. Since that time, I have worked independently and have networked with multiple SAR Teams throughout the state as needed. To date; I have raised and trained 2 K9s under K9 Expert, Scientist and Anthropologist Paul Martin of TN. The founder of HRDspecializedK9 Training.
In September of 2022 our K9's Participated in the 40-hour Cadaver Land and Water training seminar provided by Law Enforcement Training Specialists. (L.E.T.S.) and Merrills Detector Dog Services.
Utilizing my skills, my hard-working K9s, dedicated associates and acquired resources, I will do everything I can to help locate loved ones and bring closure to families.
My faith plays a major role in all aspects of my life. This particular endeavor is inspired by Jesus‘s last act of servitude before his death. He reminded his disciples to serve one another. After the last supper, Jesus washed the feet of his disciples. For Jesus, it was a direct exhibt of His humility and His servanthood. For the disciples, the washing of their feet was in direct contrast to their heart attitudes at that time. For me, washing feet is symbolic of my role in the body of Christ, Finding the lost is my way of “washing feet”
“So when He had washed their feet, taken His garments, and sat down again, He said to them, “Do you know what I have done to you? You call Me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am. If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you. Most assuredly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master; nor is he who is sent greater than he who sent him. If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.”
